In this unflinching, 80-minute one-woman play, playwright and actress Sandra Laub portrays 21 individuals—historical and contemporary—who are woven into a tense, cross-generational dialogue. A powerful cris de coeur, the performance reveals the raw complexity and pain at the heart of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. By braiding these 21 voices with her own personal journey through the shadow of the October 7 attacks and the ensuing war in Gaza, Sandra searches for the human thread that might still lead toward peace.

Sandra Laub is an award-winning actress, playwright, and educator who has spent more than 40 years combining theater, education, and community outreach. A graduate of Northwestern University and the American Conservatory Theater, she has performed Off-Broadway with companies including Circle Repertory, Ensemble Studio Theatre, La MaMa, and Shakespeare in the Park, while also teaching acting at The New School, Brown University, and the University of Rhode Island. Her acclaimed performances include the Tony Award-winning Golda's Balcony, and she continues to tour with her original one-woman play, Picking Up Stones.
