Rabbi Yael Vurgan serves as a Rabbi at the regional council of Sha'ar HaNegev (on the Gaza border) for nearly 8 years. She is a peace and human rights activist for over 20 years, a member and former worker and board member of the Israeli Rabbis for Human rights organization, and during the last year the Israeli coordinator of Combatants for Peace.
