A Conversation with Dr. Rula Hardal and May Pundak, Co-Directors of A Land For All

  • UWS Location TBD and on Zoom (map)

Israelis and Palestinians are living through a time of profound crisis. Violence without end - and an ongoing reality of grief, instability, and urgency. Even the belief that a different future is possible is under attack.

In the face of this assault on both life and political imagination, A Land For All advances a bold and pragmatic vision: Two States, One Homeland. Not as a distant dream, but a political framework rooted in reality and shaped by lessons from past failures and the lived interdependence of Israelis and Palestinians today.

Join us for a unique opportunity to hear directly from Dr. Rula Hardal and May Pundak to explore what a shared future could look like - and how it can begin.

This event will take place in-person on the Upper West Side of NYC (the location will be emailed to those who register a few days before the event) and on Zoom.

Dr. Rula Hardal is the Palestinian co-executive director of A Land for All. She is a research fellow at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem, the Jerusalem Van Leer Institute and the Forum for Regional Thinking. She has taught political science and social work at regional and international universities and  serves as a political commentator on local and international television channels.

May Pundak is the Israeli co-executive director of A Land for All. A feminist lawyer, activist and social entrepreneur, she has worked at the New Israel Fund, directed the Polyphony Foundation, and helped establish a legal team to support political struggles in East Jerusalem.  She holds a degree in law, with an emphasis on human rights, from the Hebrew University.
